Taking Economics Off the Page
Dollar Digest started as a weekly newsletter. It has grown into something I get to bring into classrooms and conversations well beyond it, and this is where I'm keeping track of that.
Why This Matters
Most people never get taught how money actually works.
Economics is usually taught as theory, if it's taught at all. Very few students ever get a class that connects inflation, interest rates or taxes to decisions they will actually make.
The outreach side of Dollar Digest exists to close that gap in person. Right now that means working with AngelXpress Foundation, bringing these ideas directly to the students they mentor.

Our Partner
AngelXpress Foundation
AngelXpress Foundation is a Mumbai-based nonprofit that runs free learning centres, connecting educated volunteers with first-generation learners from underprivileged communities. It provides academic tutoring, life skills, and spoken English programs for students in grades 2 to 12.

Beyond the Newsletter
Chakravyuh
Economics की दुनिया, तुम्हारी भाषा में
Chakravyuh explains how the economy actually works, in plain Hinglish, for anyone, not just students at big schools or kids from business families. It moves from what money is and how markets work through inflation, India's economic story, government, and India's place in the world, ending with how to actually read the news. Nine parts, plus a glossary for the tricky terms.
Want to bring this to your school or community?
